Prof. Mazor, Russian Jewish Leader, Dies

Prof. Mazor, well-known Russian-Jewish jurist and leader, died yesterday in Kiev at the age of 70.

Prof. Mazor, who was a brother-in law of the late Yiddish humorist, Sholom Aleichem, took an active part in Zionist affairs in Russia and was one of the outstanding communal workers in that country.


A campaign to raise $120,000 during the summer has been begun by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, to meet the July, August and September committments to Palestine for the Hadassah Medical Organization. which maintains non sectarian hospitals. clinies and rural medical service.
