The demand of Orthodox leaders in Palestine that they be permitted to form a separate community under the recently promulgated Communities Ordinance was formulated last night at a mass meeting held under the auspices of the Agudath Israel. Cablegrams voicing this demand were despatched to the British Colonial Office and to Col. R. S. Symes, Acting High Commissioner.
