The Liberal Jews, once the ruling element in the Jewish community of Berlin, are not represented on the praesidium of the Kehillah.

The board was constituted last Sunday at a meeting of the Kehillah, Geheimrat Stern, semi-Conservative, was elected chairman of the board, Dr. Alfred Klee, Zionist, and Herr Loeb, Conservative, were elected vice-chairmen. The Liberal Jewish representatives who are in the minority, declined to accept posts on the praesidium.
