Jewish Writer’s Play is Withdrawn As Budapest Anti-semitic Riots Go on

A large number of Jewish students at the University of Budapest were mistreated during the anti-Semitic riots which continued yesterday. Anti-Semitic students locked the doors. Large police detachments were called to put down the rioters.

The proprietors of the National Theatre announced the withdrawal of the play whose presentation occasioned the riots.
