Gorki Says Schwartzbard Act Will Prevent New Massacres (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Sholom Schwartzbard, released from prison after eighteen months, did not appear at his watch repairing shop yesterday. Interviewed by newspapermen Mrs. Schwartzbard stated that her husband had no fears but had been advised by friends to stay away from his shop until the danger of reprisals will have passed.
