The amalgamation of two influential Jewish labor groups in Palestine, the Hapoel Hazair and the Achduth Ha’avodah, is being viewed here as a victory of the moderate groups who are desirous of adopting a policy similar to that of the British Labor Party.

The amalgamation of these two groups is a direct result of their common stand at the last Zionist Congress in Basle when the labor representatives were excluded from participation in the Zionist Executive.
