A secret group called the “Russian National Union,” having the spread of anti-Semitism as its purpose, existed within the Komsomol, the Communist youth organization. This was disclosed in the course of the All Union Conference of the Jewish Sections of the Communist Party.
It was learned that the program of the “Russian National Union” was to combat the policy of the Communist party with regard to non-Russian nationals and specifically to fight Jews in Russia and Jewish influence in the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics. dependent, and eventually the inventor said: “Joe, you’re right. There are millions of people who think as you do.” I said to him: “Do you mean the Jews too?” and he answered: “Yes: I’m now going to settle this thing at once and for all time.”

Then I had a talk with Mr. Marshall and a Mr. Nordlinger in this city, after which I returned to Mr. Ford in Detroit and told him of the proposal that he sign a public retraction on what had been said in The Dearborn Independent about the Jews. He replied: ‘Whatever you say, I’ll do.’ “
STUDENTS ENROLL AT JEWISH THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
All of the students ot the Jewish Theological Seminary who received the Rabbinical Diplomas last June have been elected to positions, Dr. Cyrus Adler, President, reported to the meeting of the Board of Directors held this week.
The report showed that 32 students were admitted into the Rabbinical Department of the Seminary, making a total registration, exclusive of the Post Graduate Department, of 82. There are now enrolled 28 candidates for the degree of Doctor of Hebrew Literature and 2 for the Rabbinical Degree.
In the Teachers Institute of the Seminary, where registration is still taking place, and final figures are not available, there is at present an enrollment of 391 students, divided as follows: In the Main Department, 171, 79 of whom are new students; in the Post Graduate Department, 16; and in the Israel Friedlaender Classes, 200.
The seminary received bequests totalling $13,750.
