Thousands participated in a parade through the streets of Warsaw yesterday in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
The parade was led by students and workers who bore Zionist flags and sang Hebrew songs. Synagogues and many buildings throughout the city were decorated with the Polish and Zionist flag.
A police escort accompanied the parade, preventing any possible disturbances.
