An attempt to settle Jews on the land in Poland on a limited scale will be made by the Polish branch of the Ort, the society for the promotion of trades and agriculture among the Jews.

Oscar Kohn, Polish Jewish industrialist of Lodz, placed an area of 46 morgs in the vicinity of Lodz at the disposal of the Ort for settling Jewish farmers.
