The council of the Regency in Roumania, consisting of Metropolit Miron and Supreme Court President Buzdugan, received Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization in audience today. During the interview the regents expressed their favorable attitude toward the Zionist movement.
The national convention of Roumanian Zionists was opened here today. The British ambassador attended the opening session and offered the greetings of his government. Minister of the Interior Duca was also present. He reiterated the statements previously made that the Roumanian government is in full accord with the aims of the Zionist movement and seeks peaceful cooperation with the Jewish population.
