Due to a conflict which arose between the Jewish labor councillor Alter, representative of the Bund, and the other members of the City Council, the subsidy of 85,000 Zlotys voted for the Yiddish schools in Warsaw was withdrawn.

The Council voted instead to double the subsidy granted to the Orthodox Jewish schools.
