The Appeal Court here has dismissed the appeal brought by the ex-Czarist Officer Rumkin against the sentence of penal servitude passed on him by the law court at Khailar in September for the murder of a Jew named Wilenski at the Khailar railway station on the East China Railway.

Rumkin murdered Wilenski whom he had never seen before. The reason given was that he recognized him as a Jew and he wanted to kill all Jews.
