A plan to create a bloc of National Minorities in Roumania with the view of securing a larger representation of the Minorities in the forthcoming parliamentary election, was formulated in Bucharest, reports received here state.
It was learned that leaders of the German and Hungarian Minorities in Roumania have approached the Jewish and Ukrainian leaders to join such a bloc. The political purpose of the bloc is to be the demand for cultural autonomy of National Minorities in Roumania, particularly in the field of education.
Jewish leaders have not yet formulated their attitude to the proposition.
