Plumer Stays Deportation of Hungarian Immigrant

An order of deportation issued by the Haifa court against a Jewish tailor from Hungary, Blum, was stayed by the High Commissioner.

Blum had been sentenced to deportation after a charge was brought against him by a neighbor for spitting in her face during a quarrel with her.
