Under the headline “Friction between Ukrainian and Jewish Communists,” the Charkoff Communist paper “Red Guard,” reports that this friction led to the exclusion of Jewish Communist youths from a Communist club in Oritzin.

Jewish members were told by the Ukrainian, leaders of the Communist youth club to “have your own club and leave us our own.”
