Transjordania to Have Legislative Council by Terms of New Agreement

Transjordania, separated from Palestine by the new agreement between Emir Abdullah and the British Government, will soon have a legislative council.

The Council is to be composed of 24 members. Twenty of this number are to be elected by the population, while the four others will be members of the Government. The elections will take place in April, it was stated.
