United Zionist Drive Successful in Canada

The first united campaign for the Keren Hayesod and the Jewish National Fund lauched in Canada as a United Palestine Appeal, has already justified itseif according to a statement issued by the Zionist Organization of Canada.

With the inauguration of the campaign in Montreal and Toronto, as well as in several important centres in the Province of Ontario. $175,000 has already been contributed. The outstanding donors are A. J. Freiman of Ottawa and David Dunkelman of Toronto with $10,000 each. A. Levin of Montreal and Moses Gelber of Toronto with $5,000 each and R. A. Darwin, of Montreal, with $3,000.

Canadian Zionists are seeking to raise this year $200,000 as their annual contribution to the Keren Hayesod and $300,000 as the first installment on their $1,000,000 purchase in the Emek Hasharon for the Jewish National Fund.
