The first group of 150 pioneers in the Bureya colonization project have arrived at Tikhonkoe, where they were met by representatives of the Ozet, the society which is sponsoring the project. The pioneers were housed in barracks and have already begun work in the experimental fields of Birsk. Following their long journey, the new settlers are feeling well.
