Felix Deutsch Dies 2 Days After 70th Anniversary

Two days after industrial and political Germany celebrated his seventieth birthday conferring upon him recognition for his unusual achievements, in promoting industrial development as president of the General Electricity Company, Felix Deutsch died here this morning.

Mr. Deutsch, who was responsible for introducing into Germany American business methods and led the General Electric Company to success, rose from office boy to a position as one of the principal industrialists of the country.

In messages addressed to him on the occasion of his seventieth birthday, von Hindenburg, Chancellor Marx and Foreign Minister Stresemann, extolled his creative accomplishments.

Mr. Deutsch, who was a brother-in-law of Otto H. Kahn, recently visited the United States.
