A meeting of the Board of Governors and the Academic Council of the Hebrew University was opened here yesterday. Among those who are attending are Felix M. Warburg and Dr. Judah L. Magnes, Chancellor of the University.
The first session was devoted mainly to technical questions of the University administration. The transformation of the University into an undergraduate institution, which has been advocated in various quarters, was only touched upon indirectly. Some of the members of the Board expressed the opinion that the University must develop gradually. The meeting will continue until tomorrow.
