Jerusalem (Jun. 15)
Presentations to the Palestine government, urging it to facilitate immigration, were made in a memorandum submitted to Lord Plumer by the Vaad Leumi, national council of Palestine Jews.
Only 54 Jewish immigrants entered the country during April, it was pointed out.
Due to the intervention of the Zionist Executive in Jerusalem the deportation of four Jewish immigrants was cancelled. The intervention of the Executive on behalf of the four families was unsuccessful.
