South African Jews have contributed £ 102,000 toward the Keren Hayesod, in the collection campaign which has just been concluded a report received here today from Johannesburg, states.
Col. Frederick H. Kish, member of the Jerusalem Executive, left Johannesburg today on his way back to Palestine, after taking a leading part in the campaign.
A subscription of $10,000 toward the $200,000 being sought by Livingston College, a negro educational institution in Salisbury, N. C., was made by Julius Rosenwald, Dr. W. J. Trent, president of the college announced.
