Prof. Otto Warburg, noted botanist and former president of the World Zionist Organization, observed his seventieth birthday on July 20. He was the recipient of many congratulatory messages from Zionists throughout the world.
Prof. Warburg was one of the outstanding leaders of the Zionist movement and among the first German Jews to join the movement at the call of Dr. Herzl.
He is now head of the Agricultural Experiment Station of the Zionist Organization.
