Dr. Krass, Present at Kellogg Treaty Signing, Calls Occasion Memorable

Dr. Nathan Krass, Rabbi of Temple Emanu-El, New York City, returned to New York on the steamer Orinoco, after having spent several months in Germany and France.

While in Paris, Rabbi Krass was present at the signing of the Kellogg Peace pact, which he termed a memorable occasion. Any gesture made for peace is better than a secretive method of settlement, stated Dr. Krass, who was the only rabbi to witness the signing.

In Germany, Dr. Krass saw no hostility toward the Jews. The Jewish population is living a more or less normal life, working along with the rest of the population. Dr. Krass was accompanied on the trip by his family.
