Kaufman Case Retrial in Moscow, September 21

The new investigation ordered by the Soviet authorities in the famous Kaufman case, which demonstrated the existence of Czaristic pogrom tortures in Moscow, under the very eye of the Soviet authorities, was concluded yesterday, and it was announced that the new trial will take place on September 21.

Besides Golovkin, Lubimov and Lichovanov, who were arrested for torturing their neighbor Kaufman, three more arrsts were made, A. Lubimov, I. Zheleznov and A. Zhelesnov.

D. Lubimov, the fifteen year old boy who participated in the tortures, has been placed in an institute for minors, Zaitzen is being sought by the police.
