A complaint that applications for credits to Jewish co-operatives are attended to very tardily and are frequently rejected has been made to Dr. Garbuszynski, Director of the State Economic Bank, by a delegation of representatives of Jewish credit organizations in the country. The delegation submitted to the Director figures showing that the attitude towards the Jewish credit institutions is most unsatisfactory.
Dr. Garbuszynski replied that a number of applications which had been submitted to the provincial departments of the Bank had not yet reached the central office in Warsaw, and this accounted for much of the delay. He promised that all credit applications would be favorably considered and in close contact with the Federation of Jewish Co-operatives in Poland.
The thirty-first annual meeting and harvest festival of the National Farm school will be held Sunday, October 7 at the school, Doylestown, Pa.
