The members of the Moslem Supreme Council who were received yesterday by Acting High Commissioner Luke to present their demands concerning the status of the Wailing Wall, issued no statement about the results of the interview except to say that they were satisfied.
I. E. Bloch, of Houston, Texas, Secretary of the Texas Zionist Association, has been invited by the general chairman of the American Legion Convention, to join the committee which is to receive and entertain General Allenby, during his visit to San Antonio. Lord Allenby is one of the distinguished guests of the national convention of the American Legion, and will be one of the principal speakers at the opening session. Mr. Bloch, who will welcome General Allenby on behalf of the Zionists of Texas, was a member of the Jewish Legion which fought in the Holy Land under Allenby’s command.
