The eleventh anniversary of the Balfour Declaration was celebrated by Canadian Zionists and Canadian Hadassah. In Montreal a large mass meeting was held at the Mount Royal Hotel, under the auspices of the Zionist Order Habonim, with Abraham Goldberg, of the Zionist Organization of America, as the guest-speaker. At this meeting a resolution was unanimously adopted and sent to Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Louis Marshall, congratulating them upon the successful issue of their efforts during the pats years toward establishing the Jewish Agency and expressing confidence that these efforts will start a new glorious page in Jewish history.

In Ottawa a large reception was tendered by Mrs. A. J. Freiman, Dominion President of Canadian Hadassah, to celebrate Balfour Day. About four hundred people were present. Rabbi J. #### executive director of the Zionist Organization of Canada, was the guest-speaker.

Similar celebrations were held yesterday by Canadian Jewry throughout the country.
