Sir John Chancellor, new High Commissioner for Palestine, was the guest of honor at a meeting of the British Palestine Mandate Society, held at the home of Mrs. Dugdate. Various problems concerning Palestine were discussed by the speakers. Sir G. MacDonough was among the guests present. The chairman explained the aims and reasons for the existence of the Society. The new High Commissioner is expected to leave shortly to take up his duties in Palestine.
