Special measures of protection to prevent disorders of any kind were taken in the capital as the government changes hands following the resignation of the Bratianu cabinet.

Juliu Maniu, leader of the Peasant Party, has undertaken to form a new cabinet which will probably be comprised of a majority of peasant leaders. It is also to include, according to present reports, Titulescue, former foreign minister.

Advance censorship of the press in force up to now was abolished.
