The colleges closed because of the anti-Semitic student riots were not reopened on November 7, as was originally announced.

The deans of the colleges abstained from opening the institutions of learning, declaring that they expect a complete restoration of order before this step is taken.

The situation is similar with regard to the colleges in the provincial towns. It is at present uncertain when they will be reopened.
