A sudden rise in anti-Jewish feeling is observable in this city and in other communities in Eastern Prussia. During the past week anti-Jewish demonstrations were arranged almost every evening by the anti-Semitic National Socialist party. The demonstratiors carried banners with anti-Jewish inscriptions.

The buildings of Jewish institutions were found marked with swastikas. The Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith has made complaints to the authorities and asked that action be taken.
