Palestine Jews have to blame their own mistakes for the unhappy state of affairs at the Western Wall, is the view of the London magazine, “Near East and India.”

The action of the Arabs was organized chiefly for the purpose of counterbalancing the action of the Jews. The paper states that one may wonder whether the Zionists are not regretting the entire affair. It does not seem likely that the Palestine Moslems will waive their “perfect quarrel” with the Jews in favor of the vague, larger quarrel with the British government, as they are advised to do by Mohamed Ali.
