Prime Minister Valdemaras gave a state dinner in honor of a group of Jewish representatives, mainly Zionists.
The occasion was the visit to Kovno of Dr. Alexander Goldstein, delegate of the Keren Hayesod of London. Prime Minister Valdemaras delivered a toast in Hebrew, ending with the word, “L’maan Zion” (for Zion’s sake).
