Two national conferences of Jewish merchants and small traders were opened here Sunday. The Jewish merchants’ conference, attended by 250 delegates, was welcomed by a representative of the Ministry of Commerce. The small traders’ conference was attended by 150 delegates. The taxation question is the main problem on the agenda of both conferences.
