The Jewish member of the Danzig Senate, Jewellowsty, has started libel proceedings against several Danzig deputies, who published articles charging that he favors an understanding between the Free City of Danzig and Poland because of his business connections.
Steps have been taken to lift the immunity of the deputies to enable the suit to be prosecuted.
