The original of the last will and testament of Dr. Theodor Herzl, who founded the Zionist Organization, which was believed to have been destroyed in the fire of the Justiz Palace in 1927, has been discovered in the court of the Vienna district, Doebling. The original was found by Attorney Goldhammer, a Zionist leader here.
Before the original was found, it was feared that the attempt of the Zionist Executive to transfer Dr. Herzl’s remains from Vienna to Palestine for reburial would meet legal difficulties in view of the opposition of some of the members of the Herzl family.
