The Jewish young man, Kolenberg, who slew General Slaschoff in Moscow several weeks ago in revenge for the execution of his brother, was released from prison by the Sovien amthorities, it is reported here from Moscow. His trial is scheduled to take place in March.
Kolenberg is a native of Nikolaeyevsk, now called Zinovievsk, Ukraine, and was a cadet in the military academy of Moscow. His brother, who was 24 years old, was employed by the agricultural department of Niklaeyevsk prior to his execution in 1919 by Slaschoff’s troops.
