Boycott Against Jews in Bulgarian Town

Posters urging the population not to purchase merchandise from Jews were placarded about the town Karnabat in connection with the approaching Greek Orthodox festival. The Jewish community lodged a protest with the Minister of Justice and Metropolit Stephans. The Metropolit issued an appeal to the population to ignore the anti-Semitic campaign.
