Iin an interview with the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the Indian leader said that he and over two million Moslems in the East regard themselves as Jews, having descended from Ishmael, son of Abraham. Their ancestors went to the Asiatic countries twelve centuries ago. In support of his theory Dr. Barq pointed out that his people have many customs similar to those of the Jews although they have had no contact with Jews.
