Carrying out his promise to see that quiet will now prevail at the University of Bucharest, Professor Nicolai Yorga, newly elected Dean of the University of Bucharest, presented a demand to Minister of Education Kostachescu to liquidate the Central Christian Students’ Committee.

Although the Central Christian Students’ committee was dissolved, it still continues to work, the new dean declared. A student congress to delegate student leadership has been called by this Committee. Besides asking the Minister to order absolute liquidation of the Committee, Dean Yorga asked that he be permitted to employ disciplinary measures against recalcitrant students.
