Senate Gives Ovation to Lieut-governor Lehman

The New York State Senate with a Republican majority, concluded its session yesterday with a stirring ovation for Lieutenant-Governor Herbert H. Eehman, a Democrat.

His fairness and the ability he displayed during the three months he presided over the State Senate were emphasized by Senate Leader Knight. Following Senator Knight’s address the senators rose in a body and applauded the Lieutenant-Governor.
