Anti-semitic Acts Continue in Russia

Despite vigorous propaganda in the Soviet press, the anti-Semitic wave continues in various parts of the country. Numerous anti-Semitic incidents are reported daily.

The Vologda “Krassny Sever” reports the case of Bajenov, a 19 year old employe in the Sanitation Department of Vologda, who attempted to organize a society under the slogan: “Kill the Jews, Save Russia.” A secret circular which Bajenov wrote, was signed by him in the name of a doctor employed in the same department. When an investigation disclosed the facts bajenov was sentenced to three months imprisonment.
