All Students Join Jewish Student Protest Against Anti-semitic Professor

Two hundred Jewish students left the lecture hall in a body as a demonstration against Professor Lots of Warsaw University, who had been invited to lecture at Montpellier University. Professor Lots is known for his anti-Semitic activities and for his advocacy of a numerus clausus for Jewish students admitted to the Polish institutions of learning.

When Professor Lots came into the lecture hall of the Monpellier University to begin his lectures, the two hundred Jewish students rose and left the hall. When their non-Jewish fellow students were informed of the reason for the demonstration, they too, rose in body and filed out. Only a few professors remained to hear the lecturer.
