On the initiative of the Yiddish P. E. N. Club in this city, a joint Polish Jewish library gathering was held at the club’s headquarters.

Madame Ochenkowska read a paper on Polish literature during the past ten years, while the Polish poet Tadeusz Lopalewski spoke on the trends in the new Polish poetry. The Yiddish writer Ber Horowitz, spoke on the new Yiddish poetry. The poet, Witold Hulewicz, thanked Zalman Reisin for the initiative taken by the Yiddish P. E. N. Club in bringing about the gathering and invited the Yiddish writers to be the guests of the Polish club in Vilna.
