Isaac Kronenblech and his daughter, who run a grocery in the village Michalowitschi, Eastern Galicia, were seriously wounded when a hand grenade was thrown into their store.

It was stated that the attack was perpetrated by a villager, a Ukrainian, who also owns a grocery store. This is the third case of anti-Jewish violence recorded recently in Eastern Galicia in which an economic motive figures.
