8 Yemenite Orphans Flee Conversion; Seek Entry into Palestine

Eight Yemenite Jewish orphans, threatened with compulsory conversion to Islam in accordance with a recent government ordinance compelling Jewish orphans to accept the Moslem faith, escaped by fleeing to Aden.

Yemenite Jews here have declared themselves willing to provide homes for the orphans and applied to the Zionist Executive for certificates of entry to the country.
