The Palestine government has provisionally agreed to forego the payment of £45,000 due it by the Tel Aviv Municipality, it is understood here. This amount will be in addition to the £29,000 debt to the government previously written off.

The liquidation of the additional amount follows the offer of the Zionist Executive to cancel the £30,000 debt of the municipality to the Zionist Organization.

The balance which Tel Aviv owes will probably be paid off in ten yearly payments of £20,000 each.
