205 Jews Entered Palestine in June; 179 Left

Two hundred and eighty-two immigrants entered Palestine during the month of June, of whom 205 were Jews. In the same period 254, including 179 Jews, left the country.

At the end of May the government budget surplus amounted to £202,482. Up to then the government had spent £200,000 on public security and defense, including £55,000 for the Transjordanian frontier force.
