The Jewish population of the township of Korosten, in the province of Volhynia, has been living through a pogrom panic started by a group of anti-Semitic railway workers suddenly descending from the railway station into the town and attacking Jewish houses. They tore down the shutters from the Jewish houses. A number of Jewish artisans were attacked. The local authorities were able to take steps in time and several of the hooligans were arrested.
